Employees at Marathon's Garyville refinery are a well trained, dedicated work force with a strong culture of commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
There are approximately 570 permanent full-time employees and approximately 350 permanent fulltime contractors at the refinery today. When the GME project is completed at the end of 2009, the permanent fulltime employee base will be approximately 770 and the permanent full-time contractor base will stand at approximately 430.
